Description

UNIVERSAL PUTTY 500G

+ HARDENER

BRAND: ITALKO

UNIVERSAL putty is designed for filling unevenness and depressions on the surface before applying the paint coating. It is a putty intended for the most demanding professionals.

It is characterized by fine granularity and flexibility, allowing it to be used on elements susceptible to mechanical vibrations. It can be applied in thick layers, indispensable for filling significant gaps, it does not crack even on large surfaces.

It is soft, making it easy to apply and sand. It has increased thermal resistance (ranging from -30 to 80˚C). Due to its high adhesion, it can be used even on galvanized steel.

It contains 2 components: putty (pigments and fillers in saturated polyester resin) and hardener.

It creates coatings with good adhesion to both primed and unprimed surfaces. It is ideal for mechanical and manual sanding.

For professional use in automotive painting.

It can be used on the following substrates:

  • Steel
  • Galvanized steel
  • Aluminum
  • Two-component acrylic primers
  • Old paint coatings
  • Polyester laminates
  • Concrete

Note: do not use directly on reactive primers (wash primer), 1-component acrylic and nitrocellulose products.

APPLICATION METHOD:

  1. Galvanized and aluminum surfaces should be previously matte-finished using abrasive fleece.
  2. Carefully mix the components, maintaining proportions (it is recommended to use a dispenser for putties), apply using spatulas.
  3. Apply the putty on the sanded, cleaned, and degreased substrate. The thickness of a single layer should not exceed 4-5 mm.
  4. Between applications, take breaks to allow solvents to evaporate.
  5. Galvanized and aluminum surfaces should be previously matte-finished using abrasive fleece.

Note! Do not use at temperatures below 10˚C.

TECHNICAL DATA:
