UNIVERSAL PUTTY 500G + HARDENER
ITALKO BRAND
UNIVERSAL PUTTY is designed for filling unevenness and depressions on the surface before applying the paint coating. It is a putty intended for the most demanding professionals.
It is characterized by fine grain and flexibility, allowing it to be used on elements susceptible to mechanical vibrations. It can be applied in thick layers, indispensable for filling significant gaps, it does not crack even on large surfaces.
It is soft, making it easy to apply and sand. It has increased thermal resistance (in the range of -30 to 80˚C). Due to its high adhesion, it can be used even on galvanized steel.
Contains 2 components: putty (pigments and fillers in saturated polyester resin) and hardener.

It creates coatings with good adhesion to both primed and unprimed surfaces. It is ideal for mechanical and manual sanding.

Can be used on the following substrates:
- Steel
- Galvanized steel
- Aluminum
- Two-component acrylic primers
- Old paint coatings
- Polyester laminates
- Concrete
Note: do not use directly on reactive primers (wash primer), 1-component acrylic and nitrocellulose products.
APPLICATION METHOD:
- The galvanized and aluminum surface should be previously matted with abrasive fleece.
- Mix the components thoroughly, maintaining proportions (it is recommended to use a dispenser for putties), apply with spatulas.
- Apply the putty on the sanded, cleaned, and degreased substrate. The thickness of a single layer should not exceed 4-5 mm.
- Between applications, take breaks to allow solvents to evaporate.
- The galvanized and aluminum surface should be previously matted with abrasive fleece.
Warning! Do not use at temperatures below 10˚C.
TECHNICAL DATA:
- Temperature/Usable hardness: at 20 C -- 20min, at 60 C -- 10min
- Shelf life (from the moment of mixing with the hardener): From 4 to 6 min. at 20˚C.
- Color: Dark beige.
Recommended paper gradation for processing:
- Preliminary sanding – Р80 – Р120
- Finishing sanding – Р120 – Р240
For 1kg of putty, use 20-30g of hardener.
