ITALKO Clear paint HS is a clear acrylic paint with a high solid content, providing full and partial coverage of cars and commercial vehicles with a glossy clear coat.

It features optimal resistance to solvents. The clear HS paint guarantees strong long-lasting curing, especially when dried under quartz heaters in the paint booth or infrared lamps, but also when dried at room temperature.

It can be polished immediately after drying, has high resistance to all atmospheric conditions, as well as chemical and mechanical.

It is also suitable as a protective paint for neon shades (daylight colors). The advantage of the paint is easy and safe handling in all climatic conditions.

Applications:

• Acrylic paint for application using a spray gun.
• For professional use in automotive painting.

Mixing ratios:

• Paint: 2
• Hardener: 1

Usability from the moment of mixing with the hardener is about 2 hours at 20 °C

Usage instructions:

1. The paint is applied to previously sprayed and dried base layers.
2. Spray in an unthinned version 1.5 layers, with thinning two or three single layers, allowing time for evaporation of 5-10 minutes between coats (depending on temperature and layer thickness).
3. After 10 minutes from applying the last layer, the coating can be cured at elevated temperatures.

Recommendations:

• Layer thickness: 40-50 (micrometers) for each layer
• Spray viscosity, gun nozzle, working pressure: DIN 4/20 C 17-19 s, 1.3-1.4mm, 3-4 bar
• Curing time: at 20 °C -- 14 hours, at 60 °C -- 45 minutes.
• Coverage: 1 liter of paint + hardener in the appropriate ratio allows for approximately 12m2 of dry layer at a thickness of 50µm.
• Storage conditions: Store in a dark and dry place away from sources of fire and heat. Shelf life in factory-sealed packaging at 20˚C is 24 months for paint and 12 months for hardener.
