PUTTY WITH GLASS FIBER + HARDENER

The putty WITH GLASS FIBER is a two-component polyester putty with the addition of special cut glass fiber, increasing the mechanical strength of the product. However, due to its hard processing and low flexibility, it is suitable for relatively small surfaces.

The advantage is very high durability and ideal hardness.

It serves as an ideal base for subsequent layers of another putty that must be applied to achieve a smooth surface. It is indispensable for repairing boats and camping trailers. It is perfect for mechanical and manual sanding. For professional use in automotive painting.

Can be used on the following substrates:

• Steel
• Galvanized steel
• Aluminum
• Two-component acrylic primers
• Old paint coatings
• Polyester laminates

APPLICATION METHOD:

1. Galvanized and aluminum surfaces should be previously scuffed using abrasive fleece.
2. Carefully mix the components, maintaining proportions (it is recommended to use a putty dispenser)
3. Apply using spatulas that can be purchased at our auctions
4. Apply the putty on the sanded, cleaned, and degreased substrate. The thickness of a single layer should not exceed 4-5 mm.
5. Between applications, take breaks to allow solvents to evaporate.

Note! Do not use at temperatures below 10˚C.

CURE TIME:

• Temperature: Usable hardness
• 20 C: 20min
• 60 C: 10min.

SHELF LIFE (from the moment of mixing with the hardener) From 4 to 6 min. at a temperature of 20˚C.

DRYING TIME: About 20 min. at a temperature of 20˚C. (can be shortened to 10 min. by heating at 60˚C)

For 1kg of putty, use 20-30g of hardener.
