APPLICATION

For use in 3M half masks, protecting the respiratory system from aerosols of solid or liquid particles, provided that the concentration of the aerosol dispersed phase does not exceed 4 x NDS.

Filters, due to optimal development of the filtration surface and the quality of the materials used, provide very high dust absorption and very low breathing resistance. They significantly extend the lifespan of the absorbers.

Typical APPLICATIONS of the P1 filter set

• processing of mineral raw materials (except asbestos);
• machining (cutting, grinding) of iron, steel, and stone
• processing of softwood
• cleaning of castings and steel structures
• production, handling, and use of lime, cement, fertilizers, raw materials for the glass and ceramics industry, raw materials for the rubber industry.

Usage data:

• 2 filters are used for half masks.

Filtering products are divided according to filtering efficiency into 3 main protective classes:

• class 1 - (P1) - filtration efficiency at the level of 80% - products in this category are used for protection against low toxicity solid particles (NDS≥2mg/m3),
• class 2 - (P2) - filtration efficiency at the level of 94% - products in this category are used for protection against solid and liquid particles of low or medium toxicity (NDS≥0.05mg/m3),
• class 3 - (P3) - filtration efficiency of up to 99.95% - products in this category are used for protection against solid and liquid particles of high toxicity (NDS<0.05mg/m3).

The set does not protect against carbon dioxide.

It is prohibited to use in case the oxygen concentration in the air is below 17%
